Clothes

The "edit appearance" interface can be cumbersome, especially if you just want to change your duds and present a different you via a fashion statement.
In the same way you found the appearance editor, you can right click on your avatar and choose to take off various articles of clothing or jewelry. Like so:
Click on the "take off" pie wedge.
Then click on the "clothes" pie wedge.
Then select the "shirt" wedge (or whatever article you want to change).
After you are naked (oh my!) then get a clean shirt from the inventory.
Then put it on (by right-clicking the item in the inventory, natch!) and see how good you can look and feel with new clothes.
This Nokia shirt I got as a freebie in a Brasilian Arcade where it was just fun to sit around and listen to Portuguese/English/German conversations about Vale Tudo. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the number and variety of free things available if you are willing to explore.
