Professional Services Role-play

The best example of this is the Information Island Second Life reference desk where reference interviews are conducted mostly for information about Second Life. But they do interviews for information outside of the Second Life environment. You'll notice some ready reference terminals around the front of the desk. You will often find a volunteer on duty here. Library professionals sign up for one-hour blocks, though volunteers are not strictly vetted.
