Event Name: Tour the Sonoma County Wine Library, with our host, Bo Simons, Wine Librarian!
Event Location: Healdsburg Regional Library, Piper and Center Streets, Healdsburg, CA
Cost: $22.00, includes all events plus box lunch at the wineries! We'll have vegetarian and other options. Box lunch includes a sandwich, pasta salad, fresh fruit and a cookie. Wine also available.
Event Details: Listen to a podcast of Bo Simons on Mouthful, The Wine Country's Most Delicious Hour, a program on KRCB Radio, along with Ben Kinmont, a renowned bookseller who specializes in wine books (as well as gastronomy, perfume, nutrition, domestic economy, and farming). The show was on Sunday, December 17, KRCB 91 FM, from 7-8pm. Event Details: Are you interested in touring a "green" library? The Los Angeles Public Library has one, and LISSTEN is proud to sponsor a tour of these wonderful facilities. The Lake View Terrace Branch Library was voted one of the "Top Ten Green Projects for 2004" by the American Institute of Architects. The library includes an environmental display room and an interior reading courtyard. Come see how LAPL with the help of Greenworks Studio, an industry leader in developing environmentally responsible designs, brought the environment to the people now and for decades to come.

Get their best tips for job seeking and job satisfaction. Meet other job seekers and Alumni Association members and network. Refreshments provided by SLIS.

Panelists are: Melodie Morgan Frances (cataloging—Graduate Theological Union), Anna Mancini (corporate archivist—Hewlett-Packard), Emily Shem-Tov (information specialist—Adobe), Paul Sims (librarian—Los Altos Library), Carol Spector (government information librarian—University of San Francisco), and Sarah Wilson (assistant archivist—Computer History Museum).
