The university places a high degree of emphasis on its faculty’s teaching effectiveness. Evaluation of classroom performance is a critical issue for full and part-time faculty. The school uses two measures of teaching effectiveness. The first is a faculty evaluation performed by one of the full-time faculty.

The second evaluation technique is the student evaluation. These are often referred to as “SOTEs” (Student Opinion of Teaching Effectiveness). SOTEs are generally done close to the end of the semester.

You will receive a copy of the results of both evaluations after they have been tabulated by the university, usually three-four weeks after the SOTE period has ended,
