Speaker Biography: 

Heidi Murphy is currently the director of library and recreation services for the City of Pleasanton. She has been involved in the library field for more than 15 years, bringing experience from a wide range of library systems along with her passion for people and people’s stories. Murphy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of California Santa Cruz and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from San José State University. She also serves on the executive committee for the Pacific Library Partnership.
