CVL News: Summer Exhibit in Second Life

The Community Virtual Library (CVL) in Second Life is wrapping up their “Libraries and Librarians in Virtual Worlds” summer exhibit with two live events.

Join CVL (and VCARA members) on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 @ 9am SLT (Pacific) for the summer exhibit grand finale. The final CVL summer exhibit celebration on August 2, 2016 @ 6pm SLT (Pacific) will have a “summer time” theme and a CVL tour that highlights how CVL collaborates with virtual communities.

VCARA is a proud Community Virtual Library affiliate! The CVL is a non-profit organization that supports the entire Second Life community. It also supports the iSchool and other information science education programs by offering a virtual reference desk to help students navigate the virtual landscape; digital networking opportunities; volunteer opportunities; and exhibit, presentation, and meeting spaces.
