Advocacy for School Library Media Teachers

The school library media specialist is the chief advocate for the library media program and documents its effectiveness so that the full learning community recognizes its value and supports its role. (Information Power, p. 113)

The purpose of this site is to provide resources for school library media specialists engaged in advocacy efforts - some of those immediate, but most effective only over a long period of time.

You can contribute to this site by emailing resources or attaching them by email to David Loertscher at davidl@wahoo.sjsu.edu
