Haley Mizushima: “I earned a BA in Political Theory and English Literature from UC San Diego. After I graduated, I worked as a Legislative Aide in local politics, on several political campaigns, and as a Courtroom Clerk. I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my cat and family. When I was in college, I worked part time at a local independent bookshop. I loved helping customers find their next read. I decided to go back to school to pursue a MLIS degree because, while I thought my passion was politics, I’ve learned I find greater joy surrounded by books. My interest is in academic librarianship.”
