John Horodyski

John Horodyski John Horodyski, Principal, DAM Education, provides strategic direction and consulting on Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations including metadata and taxonomy design for such Fortune 500 clients as Roche, Tyco, Unilever as well as A+E Networks, Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS), Kantar Video, Sub-Zero Wolf, and the Ford Foundation. He is an Adjunct Faculty at San Jose State University where he teaches a graduate course in Digital Asset Management currently in its 7th year of teaching. He is also a Director at Wrinkled Pants, an iPad creative studio producing literacy based apps for kids to use in schools and at home. John has held senior business development and operational management positions within the social gaming, broadcast and mobile industries. At Electronic Arts (EA), John was the Worldwide Studios Digital Asset Manager responsible for the management of the global studio Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. John has published white papers and articles on DAM, digital media and metadata regularly presents papers and speaks at various conferences. John holds an MLIS and MAS from the University of British Columbia and is currently a Ph.D student at San Jose State University / Queensland University in Information Management & Technology.
