APA Style Resources

Many SLIS faculty require APA style. The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition) is available through bookstores and is listed in the SLIS e-Bookstore. In addition, a sampling of Web sites that provide helpful highlights and summaries are listed below.

The Son of Citation Machine linked at the bottom of this page has citation engines for several style guides.

Note: Sites not officially associated with APA may not reflect the most current APA style rules. The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition) is the official style manual.
