Scholarships Awarded by Other Agencies
Many library and information associations and organizations offer scholarships for library school students. See Scholarships Awarded by Other Agencies for a partial listing with links to the sponsoring organizations. This list is not comprehensive. Students may wish to research other scholarship opportunities as well as consult this list. Many organizations — local, regional, and national — offer scholarship opportunities based on career goals, diversity characteristics, academic background, or research interests. A good resource for locating these organizations is the Associations Unlimited database available to SJSU students through the King Library. Application requirements, submissions, and deadlines vary depending on the sponsoring organization.

Grants
Many library and information associations and organizations offer grants to encourage library school students' attendance at conferences and to support student research.
