BIPOC Become Librarians project finale event

Special Event

I am a member of the BIPOC Become Librarians project at San José State University along with my team members from SJSU King Library and SJPL. I invite you to join us on May 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM PDT, in person or on Zoom, for our final event.

We will reflect on two years of learning through which mentors from across the country have worked with SJSU undergraduates who identify as BIPOC. Some of these students have completed or are completing internships which give them an insider perspective of the librarianship profession.

Our keynote speaker is Ray Pun, President-Elect of ALA.

Please RSVP by May 3 if you can join us:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScxtF_eejGOZxOrQzwzl6qGYNq0530ONApyYBrfnm4a6jOrRQ/viewform
