What I am doing now.

Lead Librarian with supervisory duties at the Educational Park Branch Library at McKee and Jackson in San Jose, California. This library is adjacent to five high schools and is frequented by a large after-school crowd. I am in charge of all volunteers, all community room use applications, and programming, outreach, and customer requests for reference and reader’s advisory. I manage the collection in adult and juvenile sections and all language materials. I am a central selector for 25 branches in Career materials, ordering monthly, both print and digital materials. I am interested in employee engagement and educational support.
