The Center for Information Research and Innovation at the San José State University School of Information fosters research in our field, aimed at generating exemplary new practices and innovative products to benefit a global audience.

Student Research Journal

Launched in 2010, the San José State University School of Information Student Research Journal promotes graduate scholarship and intellectual inquiry in the fields of library and information science, archives, records management, and museum studies by publishing two peer-reviewed, open-access issues annually.  The journal accepts contributions from graduate students attending any university, and invites contributions authored by LIS faculty.

Library 2.0 Virtual Conferences
Library 2.019 Worldwide Virtual Conference

Library 2.019 Web Conference March 13, 2019 Instructional DesignThe San José State University School of Information is organizing three Library 2.0 web conferences during 2019, each focusing on a specific topic addressed by experts in the information profession. The conferences will be held entirely online and registration is free. The format includes an opening keynote panel, concurrent crowd-sourced sessions and a closing address. The first Library 2.019 web conference will be held on March 13, 2019.
