1980s San Francisco Bay Area Concert Ticket Collection

This project involved creating a cohesive collection of digitized records within CONTENTdm. The 1980s San Francisco Bay Area Concert Tickets collection consists of 40 concert tickets from various performances by highly acclaimed artists and bands around Bay Area Concert venues between 1980–1989. Our final paper and video presentation detail our process of completing this project through several phases, including planning for digitization, selecting documents for digitization, choosing appropriate technical production standards, image production choices for archival masters and derivatives, metadata generation, and issues and solutions encountered along the way. Our final CONTENTdm collection is viewable at: https://cdm15762.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p15762coll11.
