Library Services: First Year Plan

Library Services: First Year Plan: This project is based upon a hypothetical scenario of being hired as a prison librarian and submitting a First -Year Plan. Included in this project was writing a narrative plan covering the first year of library service, relative to the needs of the facility I chose to focus on in my project. The Plan includes goals for the current fiscal year, one of which is to design and offer one therapeutic (cognitive-based) in-library program. The Plan also includes an end-of-year, state-of-the-library report on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities for improvement, and threats to current library service.

In my spare time, I LOVE spending time with my 5 grandchildren!!”
