Research Change in Libraries: Libraries around the world are facing rapid and constant change. This short paper explores recent change research in the context of libraries, communities, and staff. It discusses the varying pace of cultural and technological change around the world and in rural and urban environments. How are libraries coping with existential change and empowering marginalized communities to become digitally literate?

Lynda Lee began the MLIS program in the fall of 2020. She has worked for a special library that serves K-12 teachers for nine years. She resides in Canada and has an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto. Her research interests include Indigenous libraries, education and library marketing.
